ZAHEDAN, Sistan-Baluchestan Province -- As a result of a head-on collision on Saturday between a motor car and a van on the road linking Khash and Zahedan, both in Sistan-Baluchestan Province, three people were killed and seven injured, the provincial police department announced here on Saturday.

As to the cause of the accident, police blamed the driver of the van for his carelessness while overtaking another vehicle.
