Over 100kg of Drugs Seized, 250 Arrested in Gilan

RASHT -- Police in Gilan Province, north Iran, have confiscated over 100 kilograms of drugs in the first three months of the current year (started March 21), head of the Gilan police department announced on Wednesday.
"Some 250 addicts and smugglers were arrested in connection with the confiscation," Commander Reza Zareie told reporters.
He noted the arrested possessed tens of motor cars and motor cycles worth about Rls two billion.
