Professional and Authentic

'Donyaye Tassvir' (Picture World) is one of a few professional magazines devoted to the world of the cinema and highly acclaimed by cinematic figures. The success of the magazine is in no small measure due to the efforts of prominent film critic Ali Moa'llem, the magazine's managing director.

To introduce this issue of the magazine would be a little bit late because the next issue is to be published soon. The delay is regretted.

This month's edition includes articles on 2002's cinematic events, a full list of winners in this year's Cannes Film Festival, an interview with Iranian film director Rassoul Sadr Ameli and a critique on the film 'No Man's Land'. It also contains a discussion of films currently showing or recently screened and some observations on the film 'Spider Man'.
