Quake Hits Western Fars

SHIRAZ -- An earthquake, measuring 3.3 degrees on the open-ended Richter scale, hit the cities of Kazeroun and Mamassani in this southern province at 10:55 hours local time Monday (0625 GMT).
The Seismological Base of Shiraz, affiliated to the Geophysics Institute of Tehran University, registered the epicenter of the quake in west of province.
According to reports, the quake left no casualties or damage, said IRNA.
Both Kazeroun and Mamassani are located 160km west of Shiraz.
