UNICEF Warns on Vaccine Shortage
Despite schools like Homeopathy, researchers believe that vaccination is the 20th century's most important success.
Based on creditable statistics, every year three million children survive death through vaccination.
According to UNICEF agents, however, 10 out of the main 14 companies producing vaccines have stopped the production of children's usual vaccines proportionately or completely during 1998-2001.
They blame economic problem as the main problem.
Usual vaccine producers expect their sales to be guaranteed through long-term contracts, while contracts and sanitation decisions are usually made annually in developing countries.
On the other hand, high prices and increasing demand for new vaccines reduce economic motive to produce children's usual low-price vaccines.
Experts believe Cape Town conference has been a great success.
