Iran, Cradle of Ancient Civilizations: Italian Daily

Rome -- The Italian daily **Corriera della Serra** described Iran as the "cradle of ancient civilizations" in a report on the historical monuments and cultural heritage of Iran.
The Sunday edition of the daily wrote that Iran is one of the top seven countries in the world in regard to the number and value of its historical monuments. The article included pictures of Persepolis (Takht-e Jamshid) and the Arg-e Bam castle.
**Corriera della Serra** said that these ancient monuments are an indication of the ancient Iranian civilization and culture, adding that they are this country's main tourist attractions.
The daily wrote that the Arg-e Bam castle gives people a glimpse at how Iranians lived centuries ago.
The report also described some of the other monuments and tourist attractions of Iran.
