Iranian Companies Sign Agreements in Izmir Exhibition

TABRIZ -- General Manager of Tabriz International Exhibition Habib Mahouti said Saturday Iranian producers have signed several cooperation agreements with foreign companies worth 23.5 million dollars in Izmir exhibition in Turkey.

Speaking to IRNA, Mahouti said Tabriz International Exhibition Company along with 38 industrial and producer units from Islamic Republic of Iran are present in the exhibition in which 68 countries have taken part.

Mahouti said Iran stands first among other countries in terms of the number of companies and variety of products displayed in the fair.

He added that Iranian companies have put on show construction materials, petrochemicals, plastic and rubber, chemical raw materials, industrial equipment and auto parts.

In the 71st Izmir International Trade and Industrial Exhibition, which opened on August 26, 962 companies including 332 foreign companies are present. The exhibition is scheduled to run until September 10.
