Part II

"Dear Lord, God of all creatures, we hereby thank you earnestly.

We thank you for the success you have bestowed on us and for uniting our hearts with your kindness.

Today, we are gathered in one of Your houses on the days of fasting for Your sake.

Our gathering is for the sake of man, for whom all the religions were revealed, the religions which are all actually one, and each has given the good news to the next and has approved the one coming.

God took man out of darkness into the light through religion, saved man from destructive problems, and taught him how to pave the path towards peace and salvation.

When religions came gradually to serve man, the problems started. Each religion considered itself the most high in such a way that the main goal was forgotten. The diversity increased and the pain and sorrow of man increased.

All the religions were one in fact and followed a common goal, that is to fight against the gods of the land and to help the poor and the oppressed.

Since we forgot the major aim and did not serve man, God also forgot us and we turned to different ways and places. So, hurry to good deeds, since we are all from God and to Him we shall return. It was Jesus (AS) who said: "Never, ever is the love of God attained without the feeling of loving man." His voice is heard in all hearts, in addition to another voice, that of the Holy Prophet Mohammad (S), who said: "One who goes to bed full while his neighbor is hunger has never believed in God and the day of resurrection." Is this sacred call something different from the main goal that is God? "I, - your Lord - am always with the heartbroken. When you visit a sick person or help a poor or needy person, I am there." (To Be Contd.)
