TEHRAN -- The Department of the Environment has issued hunting permissions to 7 foreign tourists who have traveled to Iran.
Foreign tourists from Germany, Mexico, Denmark and Canada were issued permission to hunt at the protected region of Varjin in Lavassanat, Tehran.
Head of Lavassanat Department of the Environment said that under the permission of the department, the foreign tourists hunted 7 old rams between the ages of 8 and 10. The permissions were issued because of the acceptable increase in the population of these wild animals in the protected areas.
Fallahi noted that the aim of issuing hunting permission is to attract more foreign tourists to Iran.
