TEHRAN -- In its recent annual report issued on Wednesday in Vienna, the United Nation Drug Control Program (UNDCP) hailed Iran's efforts in providing rehabilitation facilities for drug addicts in Iran.

The UNDCP has also announced that narcotic drugs production hampers economic growth and is a serious impediment to their sustained development in the long run.

In its report, the UNDCP has urged the international community to assist the countries experiencing increased drugs production or lack needed resources to fight it.
