BEIJING Chancellor of Tehran University Mansoor Khalili Eraqi arrived here on Thursday to attend ceremonies marking the 100th anniversary of Beijing university's establishment, scheduled for next week. Many scientific and political figures, including chancellors and senior officials of 83 universities in 24 countries, are expected to attend the ceremonies. Honorary doctorates are to be awarded to some political and scientific figures, including the Chinese President Jiang Zemin, at the ceremonies.
