TEHRAN Commander of the Law Enforcement Forces Brigadier General Hedayat Lotfian in a message to Interior Minister Abdolvahed Mousavi Lari congratulated him on his appointment to the post. Mousavi Lari received 177 votes out of 266 cast in Majlis on Wednesday to be confirmed as the new interior minister. Lotfian in the message expressed hope that the Interior Ministry would help the Law Enforcement Forces with efforts to ensure order and security in the country.
