TEHRAN -- Iranian boxer Morteza Sepahvand will take part in the first AIBA (Amateur International Boxing Association) World Cup to be held in Moscow from December 10 to 14.

Sepahvand failed to win the bronze medal after being defeated by Felix Diaz from the Dominican Republic in the quarter-final of the 2008 Beijing Olympic Games.
The 64 kg boxer will take part in the event along with his trainer Gholamreza Karimi.
The gold winner will be awarded $10,000 in cash prize. Silver and bronze winners will receive $5,000 and $2,500 respectively
