$211,000 Worth of Handicrafts Exported From Yazd

YAZD -- Some $21, 258 worth of handicrafts were exported from Yazd city in the Central Iranian Province over the past two months of the current Iranian year (March 21-April 21), the provincial head of Iran's Handicrafts Organization told IRNA here Monday.
Mohammad Ali Mobayyeni said some 23 domestic and 24 foreign exhibitions will be held here in the current Iranian year (ending March 20, 2003).
Yazd Province's Director General Hamid Kalantari also stressed the need to establish cooperatives to increase exports and to pave the ground for increased sales.
