Art news in brief. “Course of Philosophy” published in Arabic

TEHRAN -- The book “The Course of Philosophy in Iran and the World” written by Mohammad Khamenei has been published in Arabic by the Foundation for Sadra Islamic Wisdom.

The 298-page book, comprising two sections, discusses wisdom from the viewpoints of Iranian, Greek, and the Western philosophers. ----------------Iran to display traditional art abroad

TEHRAN -- Iran’s Cultural Heritage, Tourism, and Handicraft Organization (CHTHO) and Niavaran Artistic Creations Foundation plan to hold an exhibition of traditional art outside the country.

The exhibitions are scheduled to open on March 25 in Britain, France, Tunisia, Algeria, and Bangladesh.

The interested may send their works to CHTHO no later than March 11. ----------------U.S. scholar to set up Rumi house

TEHRAN -- American scholar Esin Chalbi is to establish a House of Rumi in Hawaii.

Chalbi converted to Islam after a visit to the Rumi’s mausoleum in Konya.

She believes that the project will help introduce the Persian mystic and poet to Americans.
