CARACAS (Xinhua) -- Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez said that his constitutional reform proposals will include changes to how the country is governed regionally.

""I am working letter by letter on all the proposals that I have received, of which the most important issue is Venezuela's territorial organization, (and) that I will present soon to Venezuela's National Assembly,"" Chavez said.
Chavez described the proposals he had submitted personally as a ""new geometry of power,"" during his regular Sunday broadcast ""Hello, President,"" which runs from 11:30 in the morning until 5:00 in the afternoon.
Chavez said the Orinoco Oil Strip, extending through many states in Venezuela, could become a new federal area, which would be governed directly by a vice president.
Chavez said such changes in certain regions, including border areas, will strengthen economic development.
