Bismillah Festival opens in Niavaran

TEHRAN -- The 4th Bismillah Festival opened at Tehran’s Niavaran Cultural Center on Friday evening.
The main gallery of the center has hanged 126 posters, logotype and new calligraphy works displaying various names of Allah.The artworks are also on display at exhibitions being simultaneously held in Oman and Syria.
On the opening night, the winners of the event were announced by jury members Ebrahim Haqiqi, Mostafa Asadollahi, and Farzad Adibi.
Sudabeh Kamrani and Mohammad Samadi received the first and second prizes of the poster category while no work was deemed worthy of third prize in this section.
Mehdi Hosseini, Leila Esmaeilzadeh Hojjati, and Mohammad Rabiei were the winners of the logotype section and the jury selected Mehdi Razi as the only winner of the new calligraphy section.
The organizers are also holding an exhibition on the theme of “National Unity and Islamic solidarity” on the sidelines of the festival.
The festival and exhibition will run until October 13
