Iran readyto buy 130 Tupolev airplanes from Russia

MOSCOW (IRNA) -- Russia announced here Monday that Iran is ready to purchase 130 Tupolev 214 and 334 from Russian Garbonov Company.
Garbonov Company in Tatarstan Republic declared on Monday that Iranian Foreign Minister Manuchehr Mottaki, currently on a visit to Kazan, capital of Tatarstan, expressed his country's readiness to buy airplanes during a 10 year period.It quoted Mottaki as saying that Iran intends to cooperate with Tatar companies due to high quality of products, reasonable price and commitment.
A number of Tatarstan's high-ranking officials including presidential advisor, deputy prime minister and heads of some companies were also present on the occasion.
Iran and Tatarstan officials also held talks on the issues concerning mutual investments and development of commercial relations.
