Iranian duo called up for World All-Stars soccer team

TEHRAN - Two Iranian international footballers Ali Karimi and Javad Nekounam have been called up for the World All-Stars soccer team to play against South America All-Stars.
The match is scheduled for July 5 at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum and Sports Arena. Karimi and Nekounam are the only two Asian players who have been invited to take part in the match.According to the official site of the Conmebol the teams’ rosters are as follows:
South America All-Stars: Lionel Messi, Martin Palermo, Roberto Ayala, Daniel Montenegro, Roberto Abondanzieri, Andres D’Alessandro, Pablo Aimar (Argentina), Alexis Sanchez, Fabian Orellana and Gary Medel (Chile), Juan Arango ( Venezuela), Radamel Falcao (Colombia), Luis Suarez and Diego Lugano (Uruguay), and Roberto Carlos (Brazil) coached by Zico.
