Pakistan spy Madhuri Gupta held on 14-day judicial custody

DEHLI- On Saturday, Madhuri Gupta who has been charged to spy on Indian secrets for Pakistan Intelligence agencies was held in Tis Hazari Court in Delhi has been ordered to stay in 14-day judicial custody. The Court discarded the police request of 2-day remand for the Indian diplomat woman.
The 53-year-old lady was detained on April 27 in Delhi after she got the summon from Pakistan stating that she was required for the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) meet in Thimphu.The Indian Foreign Services B-Cadre diplomat was the Second Secretary for Press and Information at immensely sensitive Islamabad embassy. She fell in love with Rana, her Pakistani partner to whom she started sending the secrets.
Admitting the truth, she said that she had close access to the station chief of India’s intelligence agency, the Research and Analysis Wing (RAW), in Islamabad. (Source : Freshnews)
