Actor Mahmud Bahrami dies at 73

TEHRAN -- Iranian actor Mahmud Bahrami died of lung disease at Tehran’s Labbafinejad Hospital. He was 73.
Born in 1937 in Tuyserkan, he began his career at movies in 1971. He also acted in several comedies TV series.He began his career with his acting in Parviz Sayyad’s “Samad and the Solomon Carpet”.
Rambod Javan’s “Spaghetti in Eight Minutes”, Mehdi Sabbaqzadeh’s “Taxi Driver”, Masud Navvabi’s “Tickling”, and Kamal Tabrizi’s “Take a Look at the Sky Sometimes” are among his credits.
He has also acted in Saeid Soheili’s “Marriage in Extra Time”, currently on screen at Iranian movie theaters.
His funeral procession will be held on Thursday morning in front of the House of Cinema. He will be laid to rest at the Behest-e Zahra Cemetery.
