TEHRAN A five-year-old boy was mauled to death by a jaguar which escaped from its enclosure at a zoo in France, AFP quoted French police as saying. The little boy, Gregoire Lucazeau, was visiting the zoo at Doue-la-Fontaine with his parents on Saturday afternoon when the tragedy happened. Two five-year-old jaguars, both females, managed to break free by scrabbling away at earth under the perimeter fence of their enclosure until they could slip under the gap.

They headed for a group of visitors and one of them turned on the boy.
