Thiago Alcantara to start for Barcelona against Real Madrid

Barcelona youngster Thiago Alcantara could be in line for a starting berth in the Champions League semi-final first-leg against arch rivals Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu, El Mundo Deportivo comments.
A number of reports from Spain suggest that head coach Pep Guardiola will make several tactical changes to his team for Wednesday's game and the 20-year-old could be one of the players to make his way into the side.Guardiola could decide to field Andres Iniesta on the left wing instead of in his usual midfield position, thus making way for Alcantara to take his place alongside Xavi and Sergio Busquets in the Catalan's three-man midfield.
Iniesta's switch would mean that David Villa starts at centre-forward, with Lionel Messi starting from the right wing. Versatile attacker Pedro would consequently be dropped to the bench.
Alcantara didn't feature in the Primera Division and Copa del Rey games between Barca and Real Madrid earlier this month.
