Ex-Italian PM Convicted in Corruption Case

MILAN, Italy A court on Friday convicted former Italian Premier Bettino Craxi and 20 other people of corruption charges in connection with bribes and kickbacks involving state electrical company, Enel. The ANSA news agency said the Milan tribunal sentenced Craxi to five years and five months in prison. He was expected to appeal, a process that could drag on for years.
