French Rightist Leader: Chirac Is a Servant to U.S., NATO

TEHRAN The leader of Frence's rightist party accused President Jacques Chirac of being a loyal servant to NATO and U.S. in the Kosovo crisis, the Islamic Republic News Agency said on Wednesday. Jean Mary Lepean, the chairman of the French National Front, who traditionally supports Serbs in a reaction to the French president's address to the people about the NATO attacks against Yugoslavia said in a press communique that France lost a chance for negotiation by rejecting the Yugoslavia's unilateral ceasefire in Kosovo, the agency added.
He argued that this plan could save the lives of innocent people in the war. In this communiqe he has expressed concern about the involvement of France in the Balkan war which is not to the benefit of the country.
