‘U.S. fears to attack Iran due to Strait of Hormuz’

Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ramin Mehmanparast stated on December 14 that Iran’s threat of closing the Strait of Hormuz is a response to the United States’ threats against the Islamic Republic.

Elsewhere in his remarks, he commented on the situation in Syria and said that NATO will take the policies of Iran and Hezbollah toward Syria into consideration before making a decision to launch a military campaign in this country.
