Iran saves U.S. citizen aboard UAE flight

TEHRAN – A plane flying from the United Arab Emirates to the United States made an emergency landing at Imam Khomeini International Airport in Iran on Friday, April 13, the Trend News Agency reported. 
 
According to reports, a U.S. citizen on board suffered a heart attack and the Dubai-Seattle flight had to land in south of Tehran. 
 
“After the plane landed at international airport of Imam Khomeini, Iranian medical brigade extracted the 52-year old passenger from the plane and took him to a hospital in Tehran,” said Abbas Museibi, director of the public relations department of Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization.
