TEHRAN – The Tehran Museum of Contemporary Art (TMCA) is scheduled to screen a lineup nine short stop motion animations by British filmmakers this evening.

Among the animations are Suzie Templeton’s “Peter and the Wolf” and “Dog”, Barry Purves’s “Tchaikovsky-An Elegy” and “Next”, and Peter Lord’s “War Story”.

Stop motion is an optical effect or technique, in which a single frame of film is reprinted in a continuous series, which when shown gives the effect of a still photograph.
