Esteghlal football club Sajjad Shahbazzadeh has been linked with a move to newly promoted club Alanyaspor according to the local media.

The 26-year-old striker, who joined Esteghlal in the summer of 2014, was one of his team’s key players as he scored 10 goals in 22 matches.

“Shahbazzadeh had a meeting with the head coach on Monday; we will try our best to keep him as he is one of our best players,” Esteghlal spokesman told reporters.

Alanyaspor won the promotion to the Super Lig (Turkish Premier League) in 2015-16 season for the first time in its history.
