Book City Institute to unveil Italian version of “Homay and Homayun”

TEHRAN – An Italian version of famous 14th century Persian poet Khwaju Kermani’s “Homay and Homayun” will be unveiled during a session at the Book City Institute in Tehran on Wednesday.

Published by Mimesis International Publishing House in Italy, the book is a poem about the adventures of the Persian prince Homay, who falls in love with the Chinese princess, Homayun.

The Iranian translator of the book Nahid Noruzi, professor of Persian literature at Bologna University Carlo Sakone and Iranian scholar Manuchehr Sadat-Afsari are scheduled to give speeches at the meeting.
