New IRICA head appointed

TEHRAN- Iranian Finance Minister Farhad Dejpasand appointed Mehdi Mirashrafi as the new head of the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration (IRICA), IRIB reported on Monday.
During a ceremony to bid farewell to the previous IRICA head Foroud Asgari and introduce the newly-appointed one, the Iranian finance minister named modernization of customs services as the most significant achievement during Asgari’s tenure.
It is vital for Iran to increase its stake in international trade and facilitate domestic production to increase exports, Dejpasand said addressing the ceremony, the job could be done by the customs organization.
