"Dwarfs" Should Not Mess With "Lion"

TEHRAN Iraq's official newspapers on Saturday warned Kuwait not to forget the lesson of its 1990 invasion, warning of a one-sided showdown between dwarfs and a starving lion. "We tell the dwarfs: Don't play near the lion and try to find a shelter or a sand dune to hide your rotten heads because the date of August 2, 1990 is still alive in the memory," said Babel. "Iraq has been and will always be the lion's den, so what can those who provoke the lion expect," warned the paper, a daily run by President Saddam Hussein's eldest son, Uday. "They have seen clearly how a lion behaves when his belly is full, so how will he react to those who try to starve him," it said, in reference to the invasion and the UN sanctions in force for the past decade.
