Veteran Sound Recordist Passes Away

TEHRAN Iran's veteran sound recordist Ali (Roubic) Mansouri died of heart attack here on Wednesday.
Born in 1937, Mansouri had more than 25 years experience in sound mixing in movies.
The late Mansouri recorded many movies, including Mother', The Spell' and Courier', and TV serials, including Hezar Dastan'.
The artiste, of a Christian background, converted to Islam after marrying a Muslim woman and chose the name of Ali' for himself.
His funeral to be held on Friday, August 11, at the Cinematographers House will be attended by artists and cinema officials.
