TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 12,115 points to 1.346 million on Wednesday.

As reported, over 4.859 billion securities worth 26.054 trillion rials (about $93 million) were traded at the TSE.

The first market’s index rose 11, 019 points, and the second market’s index gained 17,934 points.

TEDPIX lost 33,859 points (2.4 percent) to 1.355 million in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).

TSE is one of the four Iranian stock exchanges, the other three ones are Iran Mercantile Exchange (IME), Iran Energy Exchange (IRENEX), and Iran’s over-the-counter (OTC) market, known as Iran Fara Bourse (IFB).
