TEHRAN – “The future of the country is yours. Prepare yourself to build and beautify it as best as possible,” Ayatollah Seyed Ali Khamenei, the Leader of the Islamic Revolution, wrote in response to a letter from students.

On November 2, Ayatollah Khamenei met a group of students, aiming to honor the students and speaking to the new generations concurrent with the National Day of Students that is celebrated annually on November 4.

However, this year, a group of students from Shahid Motahari Girls’ High School, who was not able to attend this ceremony and whose names were not on the list of invited students, wrote an emotional letter to the Leader, expressing their regret for not attending this meeting and asked Ayatollah Khamenei to pray for them.

“We stand by you to the end of our lives. You are the reason for our breathing. We study and try to keep the country, which is our whole being, strong and stable,” a part of the letter reads.

“In the name of Allah, the compassionate, the merciful. My dear children, may God grant you success. Always increase the spirit of hope, effort, and progress in you. The future of the country is yours. Prepare yourself to make it better and beautify it. I pray to you. Good luck, God willing,” the Leader wrote to the students.
