TEHRAN-The Persian translation of Liane Moriarty’s ninth novel “Apples Never Fall” has been released in the Iranian book market.

Translated by Sahar Hesabi, the book has been published by Aamout Publication in 592 pages, ISNA reported.

Moriarty, 56, is an Australian author. She has written nine novels, including the New York Times best sellers “Big Little Lies” and “Nine Perfect Strangers,” which have been adapted into television series for HBO and Hulu, respectively.

Her latest novel, “Apples Never Fall,” looks at marriage, siblings, and how the people we love the most can hurt us the deepest.

The book is about the Delaneys who are fixtures in their community. The parents, Stan and Joy, are the envy of all of their friends. They’re killers on the tennis court, and off it their chemistry is palpable. But after fifty years of marriage, they’ve finally sold their famed tennis academy and are ready to start what should be the golden years of their lives.

The four Delaney children ―Amy, Logan, Troy, and Brooke― are all successful grown-ups and there is the wonderful possibility of grandchildren on the horizon.

One night a stranger named Savannah knocks on Stan and Joy’s door, bleeding after a fight with her boyfriend. The Delaneys are more than happy to give her the small kindness she sorely needs. If only that was all she wanted.

When the mother of the family goes missing, the four grown Delaney siblings faces a dilemma as the most obvious suspect is their father!

A mystery drama miniseries based on the novel is being made with Annette Bening, Sam Neill, Alison Brie, Jake Lacy, and Georgia Flood in the cast.
