Eriksson Faces Crisis Meeting

ROME Lazio Coach Sven Goran Eriksson, the future manager of England, was facing a crisis meeting with his club president on Monday as the team's poor season continued.
The Italian champions lost 2-1 at home to lowly Napoli on Sunday, a result that leaves them 11 points behind leaders AS Roma.
"The players still had Christmas cake in their feet," said Lazio President Sergio Cragnotti. "On Monday I will meet with Eriksson to try and understand how this has happened and to see how we can find the way out of this tunnel."
Eriksson, who will take over the England job in July, was not the only Serie A manager under scrutiny on Monday. Parma Coach Alberto Malesani was also facing trouble from his president after they lost 2-0 at home to Reggina.
