TEHRAN - Tehran's eighth district mayor Jalil Ali Akbari said on Saturday that a conference will be held in Tehran on urban development according to the Islamic tradition in December. The conference will be held by the manucipality in cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (UNESCO). He said the conference is aimed at providing a religious criteria for urban development and housing in the large cities of the Islamic Republic of Iran. (IRNA)
