Iran, Egyptagree to resume talks on various levels

TEHRAN (IRNA) -- Tehran and Cairo have agreed to resume talks on various levels, Foreign Ministry spokesman, Mohammad-Ali Hosseini, said on Wednesday.
Hosseini was commenting on a recent visit to Egypt of Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister on legal and international affairs, Abbas Araqchi.Araqchi's visit took place at the invitation of his Egyptian counterpart.
Hosseini said that the two sides discussed major international, regional and bilateral developments during the visit.
Iran and Egypt have currently only interest sections in either country after Iran cut ties with Egypt in 1980 following victory of the Islamic Revolution in protest at Cairo's recognition of Israel
