Esteghlal loses in Tashkent

Tashkent - Esteghlal football team conceded its second defeat in the AFC Champions League on Tuesday.In Group B, Pakhtakor defeated the Tehran-based team 2-1 in an eventful match.
Stanislav Andereev gave the lead to the hosts in 27th minute with an astonishing strike, but Arash Borhani scored the equalizer in the stoppage time of the first half.
Iranian Hanif Omranzadeh received a second yellow card for a reckless foul on an Uzbek player and left the pitch in the 86th minute.
Just two minutes later Igor Krimets scored Pakhtakor’s second goal and seized victory for the Uzbek representative.
Despite the victory Pakhtakor is now down in fourth place with four points.
