Payame Noor University from Iran defeated South Africa (16-9) and USA (21-15) at the 3x3 FISU World University League.

The competition is being held in Xiamen, China from 21 to 23 October.

The 16 male and 16 female teams represent the five continents to win the 2016 edition of the FISU 3x3 WUL.

 The 32 teams are coming from 23 different countries, with 30 universities represented and will this year again fight for the men’s and women’s titles, including the individual shoot-out (women) and dunk (men) contests.

The 2016 edition offer those 128 athletes a chance to enjoy the university sport spirit and compete for a prestigious trophy representing their respective universities.
