Bahram Beizai’s “Four Boxes” on stage in Tehran

TEHRAN – Acclaimed director and playwright Bahram Beizai’s “Four Boxes” (1967) is now on stage at Tehran’s Se-Noqteh Theater.
Directed by Anahita Zeinivand, the play tells the story of four individuals who make a scarecrow to save themselves from probable dangers, however the scarecrow itself creates many problems for them.
A number of veteran theatrical figures were in the audience to watch the play on Tuesday, the night of its first performance, Persian media have reported.
Amin Gholami, Aref Gholami, Masud Heidari, Nazila Ahmadi and Fardin Habibi are the main cast members of the play.
The play will be onstage until December 22 at the theater located on Kabkanian St., Keshavarz Blvd.
