Over 11,000km of water supply networks built in villages in a year

TEHRAN –Over 11,000 kilometers of water supply networks were built in Iran’s rural areas during the last Iranian calendar year (March 2016-March 2017), IRNA reported quoting the Energy Minister Hamid Chitchian.

According to the minister, 2958 villages were connected to the country’s water supply network in the mentioned period.
“More than 9,000 households were also connected to the electricity network in the past year,” Chitchian informed.
