Iran-Thailand business forum held

TEHRAN- Iran-Thailand business forum was held on Monday at the place of Iran Chamber of Commerce, Industries, Mines and Agriculture (ICCIMA) in Tehran, IRNA reported.

The forum was attended by entrepreneurs form both countries’ food industry, the report said.

“Iran is keen on attraction of investments from Thailand in various sectors such as oil, gas, petrochemicals, fishery, road construction, manufacturing auto parts, development of horticulture and orchards, and construction of airports and stores as well,” a deputy head at ICCIMA, Mohammadreza Karbasi, said addressing the forum.

Calling Iranian president’s last year visit to Bangkok a turning point in bilateral relations, Thailand’s Ambassador to Tehran Kallayana Vipattipumiprates said that some economic agreements have been signed between the two sides since then which should become operational in future.
