Rastak, Aylan to celebrate Iran’s National Day at Astana Expo

TEHRAN – The Iranian bands Rastak and the Aylan Children Dance Group will celebrate Iran’s National Day at Astana Expo 2017 on August 4.

Rastak, a folk music ensemble led by tar virtuoso Siamak Sepehri, is scheduled to perform a repertoire of regional Iranian music, while Aylan will give a performance of Azarbaijani dance and music at the expo, some Persian news agencies announced on Wednesday.

Over 100 countries are currently presenting exhibitions under the theme of Future Energy at the Astana Expo 2017.

The expo opened on June 10 in Astana, the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The expo, which is taking place on a site covering 25 hectares, will be open to the public until September 10.
