TEHRAN- The Central Bank of Iran (CBI) announced that the inflation rate for the 12-month period ended on the last day of the first Iranian calendar month Farvardin (April 20) compared to the same period in the previous year hit 9.2 percent.

On Monday, the Statistical Center of Iran, announced that the inflation rate in Farvardin (March 21-April 20) stood at 8.1 percent.

The figure shows 0.1 percent fall from 8.2 percent rate of inflation in the preceding month.
