TEDPIX gains 2,200 points on Tuesday

TEHRAN- TEDPIX, the main index of Tehran Stock Exchange (TSE), gained 2,281 points to 1.41 million on Tuesday.
As reported, over 5.22 billion securities worth 36.847 trillion rials (about $127 million) were traded at the TSE.
The first market’s index rose 1,219 points, and the second market’s index gained 5,991 points.
TEDPIX rose 131,000 points (10.21 percent) to 1.414 million points in the past Iranian calendar week (ended on Friday).
As reported, it was the highest weekly rise during the current Iranian calendar year (began on March 21).
After a long period of decline, the stock market transactions finally returned to the upward cycle from the last two weeks and under the influence of the decisions taken by the government and the Securities and Exchange Organization (SEO), and increased the hope of shareholders to invest again in this market and obtain a reasonable return from it.
