Ardabil to host intl. seminar for health tourism

TEHRAN – The ancient city of Ardabil is set to hold an international seminar dedicated to health tourism and hydrotherapy on December 26.

Hot mineral waters of Ardabil province will be the focal point of the international seminar on health tourism, which will be held at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabili, the provincial tourism chief said on Monday.

The seminar, which is the first of its kind in the province, is intended to develop health tourism both on the local and national scales, Hassan Mohammadi-Adib said.

Domestic and foreign participants are scheduled to​ present their latest studies and findings on health tourism and hot mineral waters, the official said.

“We aim to introduce the capacities of the province with the presence of international journalists and tour guides.”

Also, the seminar will be a gateway to an info tour dedicated to travel insiders in the realm of health tourism.
