Govt. plans to create over 1m jobs by Mar. 2025

TEHRAN – Iran’s Deputy Labor Minister Mahmoud Karimi has said the government plans to create 1,044,000 jobs in the current Iranian calendar year (ends in late March 2025), Tasnim News Agency reported.

According to Karimi 25 percent of the mentioned figure is considered for university graduates.

Based on the government data, over 1,088,000 jobs were created in the country over the previous Iranian calendar year (March 2023-March 2024).

The government has put it on the agenda to create one million jobs every year during the current government administration.
