TEHRAN – Iranian woman Para athlete Faezeh Dibaei has been banned for 18 months for violation of anti-doping rules.

The discus thrower won a silver medal in 2022 Asian Para Games in the F56/57 class.

Dibaei has used banned substance hydrochlorothiazide and triamterene and been banned for 18 months.

The Para athlete is ineligible from Nov. 27, 2023 until May 26, 2025.
